Need a breather ...
Must be wondering why there's no updates from me for awhile ... Well, that's coz i was away in Barcelona & London with my girlfriends! Just got back yesterday & still feeling kinda tired from travelling ... But before i can take a rest, I need to pack my bag again for my Tromso trip! =S
So guess i shall tell everyone bout my Barce & London trip when i get back from Tromso ... Hope I can see the Northern lights ... Anyway I need to get the pics from Dada & Karen first ... Before i can start posting ... =P
Oh & before i forget ... I hafta thank Sherri & Juan for the pleasant surprise! I was so excited & happy when i found the slip in my mailbox to ask me to go collect my parcel! & they sent me stuff that i liked! Esp the sesame paste dessert & the korean thingy... Thank you roomie & Sherri! Really very touched! & happy to see your picture! =) *loves*
Their parcel really made my day ... =)

A boring post by a bored person ...
Oh my ... I think my Saturday ain't all that interesting ... I'm just bored! Studied for earlier part of the day ... Then had dinner with Linda, Lou, Karen & TK ... then chatted for a while after that ... Then now here I am ... Back in front of my notes... But i got no mood to study! Don't feel like doing anything .. Neither do i wanna slp ... I think i'm going crazy soon! If only i can go for a run now ... How boring!

Random stuff of the week so far ...
We treated Linkesh to a meal this week ... Been wanting to do that coz i promised that if he treat me to his curry I will make him something in return ... So Karen & I decided to cook him something on Monday night ... But he came over a bit early & we were still cooking ... so stress lo ... But he helped us with the mash potatos for the shepherd's pie & he made a dish over also (dunno how to spell it) .. But it was nice! Then after dinner we sat down & started chit chatting ... We definitely had a good laugh ... He even help with the dishes after that ... After that, we went down to acc Dada coz she's going to bake a cake for Amalina's birthday ... so nice of her ... & coz she was baking alone, we decided to go down & chat with her while she baked ... We stayed there for quite a while ...

At dada's kitchen ... Then on wed, we went to a co visit again .. It's Skuld this time round... Lucky it wasn't too long, just a 2 hr lect ... But i was so so sleepy that I dozed off during one part of the lect ... =X Then after that we went down with Toon to Gronland to go get potato & stuff... He's making some potato, chix thingy for everyone ... After we come back from Gronland, he came over & we helped with the preparation of peeling, mashing potatoes, shredding the chix & stuff ... He made for everyone ... He made for 4 groups of ppl .... But the thing taste so good! So for that night we din hafta cook all thanks to Toon ... That night there was some qualifying match between norway & Holland... So almost all the guys went to catch the match ...
At Skuld's auditorium ... Thursday was the day Karen, TK & I baked & cooked ...
I didn't do much today ... I think i was skyping so much today that i really din do anything ... I talked to Weiyu & Von for so so long! Like 2 hours?! haha ... Then it was dinner time before i know it .. But it feels so good conferencing with the 2 of them coz it has been a long long time since I actually talked to them ... Talking bout those 'old' stuff was so so funny!
& today, Lou cooked a dish for us! It's nice ... It's some braised pork thing ... It taste really good, & it goes really well with rice ... Had a nice meal ...
Alright, hope the rest of my weekend will be a tad more interesting! =P

Baking & cooking!
I know my life here is so not interesting right? It's all bout baking n cooking ... haha ... But I just love to bake! & it's even more fun when everyone bakes together!
This time round I din really baked, Karen & TK did ... I tried to make Kaya! It's my first attempt ... & I was so scared i will fail coz i know it requires lotsa patience ... I managed to get the recipe from Audrey with the help of James... & thank you so much for all the pointers... I dunno if i would consider it a success ... Coz i tink it was too sticky ... It came out a bit like malt candy! haha ... But lucky it's still spreadable ... So ya ... Not too bad ... But i guess it's really the satisfaction from it! I really am happy bout it ... & I hope the next time round it would be perfect! & since it was sorta a success, I would say the time standing there was worth it ba... It took me like 2.5 hours or so to do that ... =X & meanwhile, Karen baked her Norwegian apple cake & TK baked her butter cake... & all taste so yummy! It's just so fun baking together...

Updates for the week!
Can't really rem what exactly happened during the starting of the week... So I suppose nothing special happened... That's y I can't rem a thing ... =X I guess it's just the same old stuff like cooking & going to school ... haha ... But just wanna post some random shots taken this week...

At Ulleval Stadion ... As far as I can rem, we went over to ZH's side for dinner one of the nights .. ZH cook Jap curry rice... Really nice! So long din eat Jap curry alr! It was nice ... But a pity we din take picture... After that we had chi tea & crepes made by TK & Kenneth & had moon cake left over since dunno when ... haha ... But actually everyone had so much for dinner that we could hardly fit in any food after that ... =P After that we took really random & silly shot! It's kinda funny ...

Everyone so happy!On thursday night, TK, Karen & I had baked pasta! I know it's nothing special but it's our first time making baked pasta ... So decided to put it in also . .Coz we took pic! hehe ...

On friday night ... TK, Lou, Karen & I had 'ba chor mee'! It's in inverted commas coz it was our first attempt & we try to make it look like ba chor mee! It tasted quite nice actually ... hehe ... We felt contented eating that! =P
Our ba chor mee ... =P (thou I dunno whr's my ba chor.. haha)Yest, I finally got around to baking! hehe ... It was so fun baking! So long nvr bake alr ... I feel so happy after baking ... TK, Dada, Karen & I baked 2 cakes & 2 batches of Cinnamon raisin biscotti! We baked 1 chocolate & 1 butter cake for Brian's birthday ... & the Cinammon raisin biscotti turned out well too! Apart fr the fact that it didn't look all that nice .. Coz some of the top crumbled... =( But oh wells, it still taste good & given that it was my first attempt, I'm actually happy & satisfied ... hehe ... So it's well worth the effort! & dipping it in coffee is really nice! But i just LOVE baking ... It's so fun! Then after that TK & Yong Jie helped with the writing words on the cake ... We haf no cream, so they improvised a bit ... We used nutella & sprinkled sugar on it! hehe ... =P & the rest actually had BBQ by the lake for Brian's birthday ... Wanted to go after baking the stuff but everyone went back to their room before we can join them coz the lake was too cold ... Oh wells ...

The series of unfortunate events ...
Alright ... It's the 10th but yet i've only 1 post ... I guess it's time for me to update abit on myself ...
Let the series of unfortunate events start ...
First, i sorta fell sick last weekend .. Had a bad sore thorat (lucky it did not last too many days, but it's really painful) & flu ....& I was so tired that i can't stop slping! I slept like 3/4 of the day man ... I tink for last weekend i slept an avg of 15 hours a day (including nap) ... Then when i wake up my head feels so heavy that i thought i'm down with fever (but lucky not) ... Luckily i manage to slp n rest enough & almost recover on mon ..
2nd, I dunno how or why, but i have this red little bumps (like rashes n looks like pimples) on my hand n fingers... Have 1 or 2 on my feet ... At first i tot it was bed bug bites... Coz both karen & I had the 'rash' & hers really look like bed bugs bites, mine doesn't really look like one & it ain't itchy ... But both of us only got this after the Hari Raya's party ... So we were tinking maybe the sofa in the kitchen ain't that clean ... Or it could be our kitchen's seat ... Up till now we still dunno what it is or where it came from ... Gd thing Alicia has the cream for bed bug bites ... So Karen & I tried applying ... Hers is getting better but not mine! Mine started with spots on the back of my hands to my fingers! It's like spawning! That really scares me ... & I was paranoid ... & i din know wat it was .. Tried to check it online but can't seem to find anything... Then Yong jie did pass me the burnol antiseptic cream ... So i just use that .. It SEEMED to be working .. or so i hope ... haha ... It seemed to have stop spawning ... So i hope it just stops there & heals! Make me feel so ewww when i see my hands ... Wat rotten luck i have ...
Lastly, my laptop got virus! First it couldn't switch on, lucky YJ manage to fix it ... Then it became SUPER laggy that i could hardly skype ... The other end of the line can't hear me clearly ... So sian ... Then lucky YJ manage to fix that ... THEN today it caught the stupid Trojan virus! It totally make my laptop go haywire & nearly drove me nuts! Goodness! I was so stress when i see the spywares or whatsoever stuff keep popping up! I could hardly smile! But lucky YJ manage to fix majority of it for me ...At least the annoying pop up is not popping up anymore ... I really panic & stress when i see all these man ... So whoever say i'm tech geek is so totally wrong! Coz i'm definitely not! I 'invited' the trojans into my laptop! How smart can i get man .. =(
Really hope that this whole trojan thing can be removed! It's really killing & stressing me ... So scared that my laptop will die on me while i'm here ... I will be at a total loss man ... & the best is my recovery disc is in SG ... So if I need to reformat, i need to get my disc shipped here! Gosh ... Haiz ...

Hari Raya mini open house!
My laptop is finally up & running! Actually it had been for a few days ... All thanks to Yong jie! Really appreciate his time & help with my laptop...
Alright, let me fill you in on what happen on 1st oct ...
In the morn we went for a company visit, DNV... We had lesson there and all ... Oh well, it isn't all that interesting ... But just that the environment is nice!
& later in the evening ... We had a Hari Raya 'party'! There was so much yummy food! & we really had fun! But really hafta thank those who cooked & contributed to the party! The food was good, the music was good & the party's really awesome! Everyone had their share of food & fun i guess! & of coz those who stayed back for 'phase 2' had their share of alcohol! haha ... I dun really like the alcohol that day ... I still prefer Bailey's & kahlua ... =P & I think thru all these parties & staying together, you will realise how many of the ppl in our course can actually COOK! & when i say cook it's really good cook! Dada's Rendang was gd! Linkesh's curry was good! Khairiel's Prawn was good! Karen Yeoh's baking was good! Audrey's pizza was good! Everyone's cooking was just good! I dunno if it's coz i've not been eating all these dishes for a long time ... But it's just good! haha ... Oh wells ... Most importantly is everyone had a great time that night with the food & dancing & the games ... & of coz everyone all force me to dance ... But i can't dance for nuts ... I look super retarded on the dance floor ... haha ...

Laptop down! =(
Hi all ... Just to let you all know that there will be a period of time that i can't blog! Not till i get my laptop repaired! I dunno wat's wrong with it .. But it just hang at this stupid page ... So there's no way I can gain access to the net unless I borrow my friend's laptop which is what i'm doing now ... But just wanna let everyone know so that no one will be wondering why I haven been blogging ... I'm still jumping & alive... No worries! =) Hope to get my laptop back soon! So I can post photos of Hari Raya!
