Copenhagen
I know the exams are drawing near & I'm supposed to be studyin! But here I am blogging bout my Copenhagen trip! Haven really been able to sit down & study for good... Had been fidgeting, using the laptop & doing something else (like right now) ...
This is the first time I went on a trip organised by the school ... & it's been a long while since i actually took a Cruise (apart fr the short 4 hours we took at Tromso) ... This time round it's like a whole 16.5 hours so we had our own rooms n all ... It's 4 to a room ... So of coz I roomed with the girls ... & it was fun this time round coz there was so many of us ... It's sorta like a Blk 30 outing! haha ... Ppl who went for this trip either stayed in blk 30 or always hang out at blk 30 ... haha ... It's just kinda sad that we din really have lots of time in Copenhagen itself... 1/2 the time we were on board the cruise...
There's wasn't really much to do on board the cruise... So we had to find our own entertainment ... We played some card games & charade... There really isn't much to do ... After everyone left, I tried to study a bit of Maritime Code... But nothing seemed to be going in! Just not in the right mood & place ... Wanted to slp early that night, but ended up chatting with Karen while Dada went around the cruise & Lou went clubbing with Sofi & Hong Yuan ...
After we got to our hostel to put down our stuff, we started our day ... Then we went for the canal tour the school arranged for us ... Oh ... & we met Jenna, Fiona & Kok Liang while waiting for the tour ... It's nice ... But I was so slpy at a point of time ... =X But i like the row of shophouses at the opposite bank whr we board the tour 'boat'... It's so colourful & kinda just make the place so lively n cheery ... =) After the canal tour, it's free & easy ... So we just walked around ourselves ... Not much shopping to do coz the shops all closes early since it was a saturday ... We just walked around then settled for a place for dinner ... We had dinner buffet at this restaurant ... But oh wells, we will nvr go back there again ... Lou & dada sorta almost quarreled with the waiter/cashier... Coz we paid individually at the cashier and Lou was the last person ... So he made Lou pay for one more person coz he says that one of us din pay when we actually did ... So Lou & Dada got kinda pissed & almost quarreled with him ... In the end he refunded Lou the money ... But that din really dampen our mood for the later part of the programme - the clubbing at Kulørbar... Was actually kinda lazy to go ... But decided to go take a look .. .Coz from the website, the place looks nice .. So really wanna go see it .. But when we reached there ... It's just like that lo ... haha ... dark & crowded ... Everything looks the same ... =P But that day i was 'lucky"... 3 diff ppl actually fell on me & lou at the same spot! Just my luck sitting by the bar ...
The next day we had some time to walk around before we board the cruise... But then again it's a sunday, there's hardly any shops open except for the souvenir shops ... & I din take pics with the mermaid ... What a pity ... Din know Lou & Sofi went ... If not would haf tagged along ...=( Nothing interesting happened i guess ... But the highlight or rather the more significant thing that happened was the mini 'explosion' created by Lou's heating coil when she tried to cook maggi mee ... Lucky no one was hurt ... But the room was filled with the 'powder' or 'chemical' that was in the heating coil ... It stinks .. =S Lucky the smoke din trigger the smoke alarm or anything .. But the ride back on the 'Crown of Scandinavia' was bad...It was so so unstable ... I woke up in the middle of the night coz the cruise was so unstable ... Then when we got back to Oslo, Sofi, Lou, Karen & I got the random check from the custom ... So 'lucky' ... It took forever coz he was checking bag by bag & asked so many questions! Zzz....
But it just feels good to be back in Kringsja! haha ... Dunno y ... Always like the feeling of being back in Kringsja ... =P The ppl, the room, the bed ... But coming back means studying! =(
